Booked here for work gor 4 nights .Rooms are tired but really clean. Staff are friendly and helpful,and I've had the best 4 nights sleep !!! Food & drinks: Great Indian across the road, great restaurant around the corner !!

I recently stayed here with my boyfriend when a member of staff, who i believe to be called Clare in what I would say was her mid 50/60s spoke to us rudely in a sharp tone. Staff are meant to be welcoming and friendly but instead we got spoken to poorly for no reason. This really ruined the experience for us as there was no need for this.

We stayed at Travelodge Castle Bromwich for 3 nights 08th - 11th April. The room was Clean, Warm and Comfortable. However it was looking tired and in need of some work, Carpets are faded and in need of replacement, paint work was in need of refreshing, bathroom door did not close correctly (it only needs to be planed and refitted) House keeping was non existent. Even after putting request on door for towels, emptying of bins and toilet rolls nothing was done. (even after reporting it) I had to go to reception to be provided with needed items. Having said this, Reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful. I am aware that this is a budget hotel, but there is definitely room for improvement.

(Translated by Google) Clean, nice staff negative was that you have to pay for internet / wifi if you want more than 30 min per day and you can ONLY log in 2 devices.. I had to pay for internet 2 times as there were 2 of us and also needed wifi to our laptop.. also had to pay £10 for late checkout 2 hours later (Original) Rent ,trevlig personal negativt var att du får betala för internet / wifi om du vill ha mer än 30 min per dag och du kan ENDAST logga in 2 enheter.. jag var tvungen att betala internet 2 ggr då vi var 2 pers och behövde även wifi till vår laptop.. var även tvungen att betala 10 pund för late checkout 2 tim senare
