  Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently had the opportunity to stay at Travelodge, and while my overall experience was not entirely negative, there were a few notable drawbacks that hindered my stay. Here is a breakdown of my experience: Room: ★★★★☆ One of the highlights of my stay at Travelodge was the room itself. It was surprisingly spacious, providing ample room to move around and relax. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. The fan was helpful for the spring heat too. Bathroom: ★★☆☆☆ Unfortunately, the bathroom left much to be desired. One of the main issues I encountered was the slippery bath. This lack of traction made it quite unsafe, especially for someone like me who values safety and wants to avoid any potential accidents. Additionally, the water drainage in the bath was poor, causing an inconvenience during showering and leaving me with a pool of water that took a while to fully drain. I found the choice of colors for the window blinds in my room to be rather disappointing. The color scheme clashed with the overall aesthetics of the room and didn't create a pleasant ambiance. While this may seem like a minor detail, it does contribute to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the space. Breakfast: ★★☆☆☆ Regrettably, the breakfast at Travelodge did not meet my expectations. The quality of the food was subpar, lacking flavor and variety. The options available were limited, and the overall presentation and freshness of the breakfast items were below par. This was disappointing, as a good breakfast is essential for starting the day on a positive note. In conclusion, my experience at Travelodge was a mixed bag. I hope that Travelodge takes note of these areas for improvement, as addressing these concerns could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

  Had to ask for extra towels for a double room. Room was uninviting, cold, not very clean. Staff could not make a simple cocktail, ie. Tried to pass off a full glass of passion fruit syrup as a cocktail and then asked for a gin and tonic they gave me elderflower tonic without the gin and didn't even know what glass to serve it in.   The rooms look dirty and are cold. The bathroom was also dirty and there was only one towel, even though the booking said two adults. The staff that work the bar are not trained. I asked for a passion fruit martini and they just poured the passion fruit syrup into a glass and tried to serve that. We explained that's not the proper drink. They replied with they don't know how to make it. So we ordered a gin and tonic instead and they tried giving us just the bottle of tonic. We had to explain what to do. I understand that not everyone is trained to work a bar but that's just a joke. I'll honestly not return again and actually regret making the booking

  had a plesant stay room nice bit plain nice bathroom the bath was a bit on the small side and im 5 foot 5 Lol breakfast was nice staff frendily and helpfull Food & drinks: plenty of tea and coffee milk and sugar for 1 person coffee wasent nice though bit bitter orange juice was lovely

  The bathroom sink was clogged, the hotel room was full of dust, the keys didn’t worked had to go 3 times to make them work!! The breakfast was the most plain that u can ever get, better go to a local grocery shop INSTEAD!!! The location is so loud! People still make noises at 2-3 am! the worst experience ever.
