The 23 bus I was on broke down. The driver was good at communicating to us the issue and the steps he was taking. He called for an engineer and a replacement bus. Another bus was due in about 15minutes, so many passengers ran to the previous stop as it was closest. We then saw the bus replacement and engineer arrive and ran back to where we had broken down. We were then told by the engineer and the bus driver that they didn't know if the bus would be used for the same route. I don't think this is good enough. We'd paid for the journey and we were left no-where near the destination. We then ran back to the bus stop only for the next bus not to arrive. We've been left waiting nearly an hour. While the bus driver was quite friendly and apologetic the engineer was not.

"Service frequency every 12 min". It's Monday noon and I am waiting for more than 20 min.

Manchester buses - no digital boards at bus stops to tell you when the next bus is due, no screens or announcements on board to tell you which stop is next - and no proper bus station to wait in, out of the cold and wet - apart from Shudehill - and that is limited to a few services. If you're going to get people out of cars and using public transport it might be a good idea to address these issues - they aren't luxuries and other British cities seems to be able to provide them.

Absolutely shocking! Terrible "Customer Service" - they don't want to know if anything is wrong; they just ignore all your emails and don't want you to buy anything from them.
