  They do not use qualified translators - just the cheepest they can get. They are highly unreliable and the quality of work is not what they promise and what you pay for. If they make a mistake they do not reimburse you for your damage. I needed translations done on time and had to hire - over the weekend - a different translator to clean up their mess. They only had 2 of 3 documents translated and one of the 2 was completely unreadable. They kept writing generic, computer generated emails and then refused to reimburse me for the damage.

  If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. Over one month following the order, there is no sign of my translation, despite a proof review of the translation being available 30 days ago. All I have in response to requests about the significant delay are (admittedly) polite but generic placating messages, with no idea about the timeline of when the translation will be sent back. The service has of course been paid for. In very blunt terms, it has been an experience of your money being taken, with no service provided in return, and vague communications when querying the timeliness of the order.

  For my legal translations, I paid extra for it to be sifted through a professional translator. It becoming 104$ for a meager short letter. I told them that I needed it in a couple of days. They first gave me a translation with so many errors. I requested it to be fixed, after a couple of days they gave me a 'fixed' translation, with only a couple parts of the mistakes fixed. SO I requested them again that those parts have to be fixed. Then they were totally unresponsive, I called and they said they would get back at me. No notification, nothing. Not even a notice that they wont do the translation. Then AFTER MORE THEN A MONTH they got back to be with a translation and it still had errors. At this point my court has passed and I have already spent more money on a different company to give me a certified translation. Terrible terrible incompetent company.

  There will be a minor confusion on their payment platform, visibly if you agree to a deal by mail, make sure you're seeing the same information on their platform, in my case I needed a Friday delivery but my case handler just stop responding after the payment due to office closure. They have an out of hour customer service who reassured me and should process a refund, I am waiting for it Monday. A bit disappointed that they haven't offered me an alternative for an ASAP delivery as they do work weekends, but that's minor, i can go and solve it elsewhere. I will update my review by that date pending on how my case is delt with.

  I am really sorry to say that I ever had such a bad experience both for my translation and getting refund.totally noncopetative team. Very poor quality of translation with grammatical mistake and not responding on time. When ask to put me through manger to discuss my concern they would say they are not authorised

  Basically a highway robbery. Apparently timely delivery and transparent operation - definitely not. Moreover, incapable support staff, justifying its highly unethical acumen with intransparent and dodgy t&c. I received my hard copy more than a week later than agreed. In addition, was charged customs fees on top of delivery expenses, despite receiving delivery with significant delay. Neither were the customs fees mentioned in advance, nor was there any compensation. Instead, I only received copy and paste responses from support staff that couldn’t care less. All in all, Translayte is an unreliable, untrustworthy, intransparent and highly dubious service provider merely looking to scam customers.

  Edit: my problem has been quickly solved i had to use an another company for my translation but they were replying to my complain and they very professionally proposed a refund. From 1 star to 5star because they assume the mistake and are honnest the document was supposed to be legal for french administration, its not, they translate from the source language to english and then to french and its not certify anymore
