I would highly recommend training at Transflash without hesitation. I've been training here for a few months now with Lenka (Insta: @lenka_personal_training). When I started I was wanting to get back into exercise after stopping from a series of injuries from my hypermobility getting the better of me. Additionally, I'm transgender so the whole gym thing was a bit of a barrier with me. Since starting I've become so much more confident in exercise and feel really positive about myself and my body. It's really nice having a person training who took into account my body conditions and at times when I wasn't confident . Lenka pushed me to be my better self in a way that in felt complete safe. Everyone says their personal trainer is the best personal trainer. Clearly they're all lying because my personal trainer is the best trainer ☺️ Atmosphere: Everyone is really friendly, the other trainers and clients I bump into are all lovely and the culture is incredibly supportive. Facilities: Good space that's well kitted out with changing room, lockers, showers and parking.

I was a bit apprehensive when I first started. However this is one of the best decisions I have made. Harry is brilliant as a trainer and for me knowledgeable about weight loss (it may vary depending on the programme you want as Harry has a lot of knowledge on body improvement). We did a consultation to look at where I was starting from and even from the consultation, Harry offered me a lot of free tips to get started with which normally you would have to pay for. The training itself is varied and challenging (in a good way) but you'll never be bored. When I first started I struggled lifting a 30kg medicine ball. Now I can lift it up in one go and run with it. The weights I'm lifting has increased in terms of the ease of sets and the amount. I feel like my stamina is increasing to the point where with certain stairs I'm practically running up them. During what feels like Cardio as I call it, I've gone from being able to barely breathe to when finishing a set just about having a conversation. My energy has also gone up and I'm sleeping a lot better. My relationship with the Prowler is now at a point where it's a training buddy rather than enemy. It's getting easier to move it. Harry will push you but never to the point of injury or beyond what you are capable of. He also knows his stuff when it comes to optimising weight loss. He's also on hand to answer any questions you may have. It's also nice to have a gym where it feels like your own private gym and you never have to wait to use any of the equipment making the workouts even more effective. I cant recommend this place enough :-)

I have been doing weights and working out myself at a local gym for maybe 2-3 years now but never had the the courage to push any further for a combination of fear of injury, self doubt and embarrassing myself in a public place. I felt I had reached a plateau and getting less motivated since the same exercises started to feel stale. Through being encouraged in a safe environment at Transflash, I'm already feel so much stronger psychically and mentally. I had a bit of reluctance in the past finding a PT worried I'd find a bad one and come off feeling worse, but Harry's coaching style really suits my mindset. Yes we work hard, but he is laid back and super knowledgeable so I feel safe when he tells me to do the next exercise as though it's no big deal. Suddenly things I thought I couldn't do not only seems achievable, I never need to have an internal debate anymore as to whether I can or cannot complete the task at hand. I just know I will. I look forward to the sessions because I know I'll be pushing myself but I always leave feeling knackered but awesome about what I have just managed to do in that session. He's made it easy for me to push myself to do things I never thought I could - hopefully that will include conquering the pull ups! Can't thank Harry enough for teaching me stuff that would have usually taken me three times as long to have summed up the courage to even try and never once losing patience with me!

I used to suffer from Chronic headaches, and in the first consultation with Harry. He advised I keep a food diary to notice my food intakes and trigger points through out the week. Alongside this, I went through some muscle stretches around focusing on my neck/head and I kid you not. A week later there was a massive reduction in headaches. Third week in now and I've rarely had any headaches. It's a great freedom. Thanks Harry!
