We do not have restrooms or water stations on the routes, but there are public restrooms and water fountains available along some of the trails. Our rental costs vary depending on the type of bicycle and length of rental. We offer hourly, daily, and weekly rental options. Our rental fees include the bicycle, a helmet, and a basic repair kit.Can equipment be reserved in advance, and what is the cancellation policy?
Yes, equipment can be reserved in advance through our website or by calling our rental office. We require a credit card to hold the reservation, but we do not charge until the rental is picked up. My daughter Aria (6yo) learned to ride her bike with Steve at Trailnet, over the course of three lessons, starting entirely from scratch (no prior experience of riding a bike, whatsoever). The lessons involved no use of stabilisers, and no taking the pedals off of her bike; just skillful, patient instruction on the part of her instructor. Steve is an honest, engaging, kind and patient man, of whom Aria has grown very fond in only a very short space of time. The location from which Trailnet operate and conduct their lessons (Thorndon Country Park (known locally as 'the Gruffalo Trail')) is beautiful and well equipped. In summary, I would recommend Trailnet to anyone who wants their child to learn to ride a bike quickly and proficiently. In my opinion, their services provide excellent value for money.

I joined Trailnet’s intermediate cycling group, the one that meets on a Thursday, approx. 3 years ago and from day one I have always been made to feel very welcome. The leaders are excellent, friendly and safety aware. There is also a good social aspect to the club. My recent attendance has been impacted by CV 19 but as soon as some degree of “normality” returns I hope to return.
