    I'm a frequent visitor of the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich over many years. It's one of the places I like to take visitors, especially from overseas, because of its atmosphere, good food and friendly service. The Trafalgar Tavern is a showpiece in Greenwich right by the river Thames offering both inside and outside dining areas, and facilities for different celebrations upstairs as well as fantastic views. A few years ago I was unexpectedly 'rewarded' with a loyalty card as a thank you to a frequent visitor who was always bringing friends to dine. ( I'm amazed that they recognised that!) Set next to the grounds of the Old Naval College, it is easy to go there for Sunday lunches after the service at the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul nearby. The Trafalgar Tavern is my old best friend of many years and I recommend it highly.
