Awful school. Went downhill fast when it became a mixed academy. Lost a lot of excellent teachers. Went from a school where my eldest son learnt well, where the boys were respectful to a place where bullying is rife but only a very small minority of staff actually care. The kids (mostly girls) are vile, rude, swearing, taking up the entire pavement while walking home so people going to the primary school opposite have to walk through this and get sworn at. The school do nothing about the complaints put in by various people. They have an autism unit there but the SENCo is useless, they refused to even try accommodate my autistic sons needs with Miss Pearce saying "well he won't be welcome at this school". Needless to say I withdrew his application immediately and found him another school.

The higher positioned staff are just disrespectful and unreliable, most of the students here are just arrogant chavs that need to be put down ( mainly most of the younger students ) some staff are friendly and helpful (so it gets 1 star ) but that's the only perk it has. Also, If any past students of this prison assume it's a lot worse now, you can't imagine how right you are; It's a lot worse than you can imagine. I know this because I went to this school and saw it's regression into hell...ALL IN 3 YEARS.
