    Decided to overpay (+£500) for this service, after getting various cheaper quotes, because I wanted my items to get to their destination safely. Also opted to pay extra for insurance to guarantee it. It did not happen! At this point, I've only opened 1/3 of the boxes and I've already found 1 broken item. I've messaged TP International Removals for clarification and asked for compensation. I was told that because I packed the box, the extra insurance I paid for doesn't cover damage, only shipment losses on their side. Wasn't aware. Utterly disappointed. The box was clearly marked "Fragile". Complete disregard for my personal belongings. Another of the boxes was covered in transferrable red ink that would have marked my floor haven't I noticed in time. If you go for this service, please triple-check the estimated weight/price versus the final price. My load was lower than originally estimated but I was then overcharged on multiple items. In order to save some money, I decided to do the packing for some of the items. For example, I packed an apple computer monitor in an apple iMac box. The item fitted perfectly because it was the same size. Still TP International charged me £35 for "packing" this item without asking. TP also charged £75 for putting 4 IKEA stackable stools in a cardboard box that weighted 10kg in total. These stools would have fitted in a regular box. I could packed them myself and would have paid only £10 instead of the £75. Please be aware! I simply would not recommend.

    Great service! I am very happy I chose Trans-Portugal! The boxes arrived safely, nothing was damaged. Collection and delivery were right on time as scheduled. The staff are very friendly and professional, they helped me do the paperwork of inventory / stickers on boxes, so was easy without any issues at all. On top of that, the price was the best offer on the market! Highly recommend to anyone who needs to ship boxes from UK to Portugal!

I was very stressed about moving my antique furniture from Portugal to the uk but they made it so easy, packaged it really well and reassured me throughout the entire process by keeping in close communication with me.     (Translated by Google) I sent 2 trucks with personal effects from London to Portugal, having paid extra to insure the goods. So far so good. The staff who came to my house in London were impeccable. The employees who delivered and unloaded my merchandise in Portugal were the same. However, when opening my merchandise I noticed that I had damage to a Banjo (with immense sentimental value) and some scratches on an LED TV screen (irreparable). I contacted the company to inform them of what had happened and sent photos so that they could verify the damage caused. I was asked for a quote for the arrangement of both objects and for that I had to pay 30€ (for the report / TV quote only). After sending the quotes, I received a response from the company informing me that they would not pay anything for the Banjo because it had been sent in my box and that they had not seen the condition of it when it was sent. Regarding the TV, a similar response (sent in its own box and they didn't see the condition of it), and I was offered £50 for the TV, after withdrawing the excess of £250 from the insurance. I replied in a new email that the musical instrument had been inspected, yes, and even wrapped in bubble wrap by the employee and resealed the box. The fact that the Banjo was inside its own box did not prevent it from being packaged in such a way as to avoid damage by employees, and the decision not to do so was only the professionals' decision and not mine. They told me on the spot that they were going to wrap the Banjo in bubble wrap to protect it and so they transported it. I also informed that the TV had not been transported in any box and was fully visible and that it was the employees who packed and inspected it before taking it to the van. However, I receive another email saying that they checked with the staff and that the Banjo would have been wrapped on the outside and that if the bubble wrap had been used the box would not close. I was there when it was packaged and I saw the bubble wrap being used and they didn't use anything else on the outside and saw that the Banjo was in good condition as they had it in their hands when wrapping it!!! I was offered a £100 credit for the Banjo to be used for future transport or to collect the Banjo and see one of the restorers they use to see how much the fix would be. Of course, I declined the offers because I will never again in my life place valuables in the hands of people who lie and work dishonestly. As for TV, they kept the offer of £50, which I also refused because I consider the way I was treated an offense to my dignity and it is not money that moves me but professionalism and respect for customers, which in this case did not exist. In short, not only did they keep the extra money I paid for the insurance, they made me spend another €30 on a budget that was useless, but they called me a liar!!! If I could give 0 stars I would because the disappointment with the way they dealt with my problem is so much that they don't even deserve a star! Think carefully if you decide to use this company and if you do, make sure you don't send valuable items! (Original) Enviei 2 camiões com objectos pessoais de Londres para Portugal, tendo pago extra para segurar a mercadoria. Até aqui tudo bem. Os funcionários que foram a minha casa em Londres foram impecáveis. Os funcionários que entregaram e descarregaram a minha mercadoria em Portugal igual. No entanto, ao abrir a minha mercadoria notei que tinha danos num Banjo (com um valor sentimental imenso) e uns riscos no ecrã de uma TV LED (irreparáveis). Contactei a companhia a informar do sucedido e enviei fotos para que pudessem verificar os danos causados. Pediram-me um orçamento para o arranjo de ambos os objectos e para isso tive que pagar 30€ (pelo relatório / orçamento da TV somente). Após enviar os orçamentos recebi uma resposta da companhia a informar-me que quanto ao Banjo não iriam pagar nada porque tinha sido enviado dentro da minha caixa e que não tinham visto a condição do mesmo aquando do envio. Em relação à TV uma resposta parecida (enviada em caixa própria e que não viram a condição da mesma), e ofereceram-me £50 pela TV, após retirar o excesso de £250 do seguro. Respondi num novo email que o instrumento musical tinha sido vistoriado sim, e inclusive embrulhado em plástico de bolhas pelo funcionário e voltado a fechar a caixa. O facto do Banjo estar dentro da sua própria caixa não era impeditivo de ter sido empacotado de forma a evitar danos, por parte dos funcionários, e a decisão de não o fazer foi somente dos profissionais e não minha. Disseram-me no local que iam embrulhar o Banjo em plástico de bolhas para o proteger e assim o transportaram. Informei ainda que a TV não tinha sido transportada em nenhuma caixa e estava totalmente visível e que foram os funcionários que a empacotaram e vistoriaram antes de a levar para a carrinha. Entretanto recebo mais um email a dizer que verificaram com os funcionários e que o Banjo teria sido embrulhado por fora e que se o plástico de bolhas tivesse sido usado a caixa não fecharia. Eu estive presente aquando do empacotamento e vi o plástico de bolhas a ser usado e não usaram mais nada por fora e viram que o Banjo estava em boas condições pois tiveram-no nas mãos ao embrulhá-lo!!! Ofereceram-me um crédito de £100 para o Banjo para ser usado num futuro transporte ou para recolher o Banjo e ver com um dos restauradores que usam para ver em quanto ficaria o arranjo. Lógico que recusei as ofertas porque nunca mais na minha vida vou colocar objectos de valor nas mãos de pessoas que mentem e que trabalham de uma forma desonesta. Quanto à TV mantiveram a oferta de £50, as quais também recusei pois considero uma ofensa à minha dignidade a forma como fui tratado e não é o dinheiro que me move mas sim o profissionalismo e respeito pelos clientes, que neste caso não existiu. Resumindo, não só ficaram com o dinheiro extra que paguei pelo seguro como me fizeram gastar mais 30€ num orçamento que de nada serviu, como ainda me chamaram de mentiroso!!! Se pudesse dar 0 estrelas tinha dado pois o desapontamento com a forma como lidaram com o meu problema é tanto que nem uma estrela merecem! Pensem bem se decidirem usar esta companhia e caso o façam tenham a certeza que não enviam objectos valiosos!
