Loved the place and quality of food is amazing. My only comment was that main dish the milanese veal was unexpectedly raw at the edges. Given that I'm obviously 8.5 months pregnant, i would've appreciated being asked for how I liked it cooked. Otherwise, totally recommended. ๐

Thanks to Louis for your service and smile, and the kitchen team for the great food! Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was rather disappointing, starting with the manager (Roberto) who was the perfect combination between patrionising and condescending whilst trying to mansplain what a glass of prosecco is in a rather disgusting and unprofessional manner at our table. If this is his leading style then it is no wonder why except of Louis and the Receptionist, the rest of the team looked rather unhappy to be there. Iโll skip the list of things that were not to standards for a place that is trying to be high class.

The ambiance was great. Although there were little things, like the chairs need a little cleaning as there were bits of food and dust on them. Also, the table was quite dusty and needed a good wipe. Even though the place was half-empty, service was so slow. A lady took our order, we waited and the starters came quite quickly but our drinks weren't served until after we reminded them and had already eaten our starters. The gap between starters and mains was more than half an hour and when the waitress finally returned with the mains it seemed to be that the food had just been heated up as the pasta sauce was congealed and had hardened slightly and formed a skin. The food was nice but the service was a major letdown. A waiter towards the end was quite attentive but given it was half empty and not considerably busy and the lack of attention or service was poor makes me think twice about returning.
