Does not provide quality safeguarding. Most, not all, teachers care more about the grades than the well-being of the pupils. Although most schools are the same i personally can not wait to leave this place.

Unnecessarily strict on uniform and younger children are very rude.

The Toynbee School has a enthusiastic atmosphere and the teachers have a really good teaching style because the lessons are varied from ICT work, group work, poster making, presentations and it is not just from the textbook. This makes you see the practical side of your subject area and allows you to see it's value in the real world. Although I did not attend, there are many clubs and sports teams that allow you to enrich your curriculum. They range for many tastes from puzzle club to football teams. Overall this is a school that makes you want to learn and drives your motivation and imagination. There is also a lot of pastoral support from staff and learning support. I personally got lessons in social literacy. It can accommodate people with learning and social disabilities. I have a lot of good memories from this school including talent shows, drama showcases, art projects, visit to the Tate and leavers assembly. I really miss it :(
