Lovely walk on a dry day. Ensure you cross the road from where you park at the monument cross and follow the wooden sign and path down the side of the field until you come to board No.1. It's a dead end path, so you can't go wrong. If you do, the battlefield walk will make much more sense! It takes about 1hr with a pub 3/4 of the way round. Your on private land so please be respectful.

Staying nearby on holiday we came here to see the cross & the information boards about the Battle of Towton in 1461. There is a trail to follow of about 2 miles intersected by more information boards so you get the feel for the event that took place here. Enjoy
