A great dinner here. Every dish was spot on and the service delightful, also excellent wine. Definitely as good as some of the packed restaurants in Shoreditch but a much more relaxed experience.

Very good modern British restaurant in Whitechapel Gallery. The menu comprised eight dishes of varying sizes priced accordingly, together with three desserts. Everything is beautifully presented and full of flavour. Interesting wine list with about 10 choices offered by the glass. A very pleasant place to dine with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Good restaurant with gourmet British food, I just wish they had vegan options for the main meal and that they didn’t put cream and butter on everything. The atmosphere is nice.

We ordered the crab cake. It was a very modest size, about 3 inches across. Clearly not enough so went on to order the parsnip with braised pork. Also not big But the sizes ultimately were irrelevant. The tastes here are extraordinary. So too tip for next time. Go for starters, mains and pudding.

I have to be frank, I'm pretty disappointed with this meal. My friend and I had bought a ticket to an exhibition and 2 course lunch at this restaurant, and sadly the menu was set to 2 options of mains. Either fish or pork (I don't eat pork). My friend is also vegetarian, so her dish was not available to see on the menu. In hindsight we should have checked what was on the menu before booking, but I guess we learnt from our mistake! The food was nice, but at best tasting menu size portions. Which left us feeling hungry at the end (so yes we ended up going somewhere to eat after the exhibition). The atmosphere was calm and sophisticated and the service was excellent, so definitely can't fault that. I'm sure the food would have been better from the a la carte menu so I wouldn't deter you. Also when you buy the ticket with lunch, there is nowhere that informs you that you need to also book the restaurant separately. Thankfully the restaurant was not busy. But that would have been useful to know beforehand.

Very poor execution. Rhubarb came in lieu of the pear without any form of explanation and the whole diner was quite bland !

(Translated by Google) We wanted to have lunch there before visiting the prodigious exhibition: Women Artists and Global Abstraction 1940–70 I was absolutely disappointed by this restaurant: the service was chaotic and inefficient - my friend had finished her dish when I had not yet received mine! Several times we were brought dishes that should have been served at other tables! I decided to leave the restaurant without having been able to eat - when I explained to the waitress that I couldn't wait she was very rude and tried to tell me that it was all my fault!
