My usual vets isn't fairly local and after finding my cat in a bad way yesterday in my neighbours garden I needed to get her to a vets ASAP. After ringing another local vets who refused to see my cat, I rang Townsend who immediately were very helpful. We took our cat down to them and the head vet Will was brilliant. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save Minnie and we had to have her put to sleep 😔 Everything was done with such care and compassion and Will was so caring. The whole environment is lovely and clean and doesn't have the "pet smell" like my usual vets does. Thank you to the receptionist for all your help and to Will. 🐾

All of the staff here are very friendly and helpful; they genuinely care as much about your pets as you do. The waiting area is always clean and tidy, with a separated areas for cats and small pets so any dogs in the waiting room don't distress them. Timekeeping of the veterinary practitioners is good, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time and any delayed appointment is always started with a "sorry for your wait".
