Some Idea
I just had a followup session on staying well from the THTT team. Really well delivered and very timely. I’ve had a positive experience throughout with the service and it’s been the best help I’ve had in many years. Personally, I’ve found everything well organised, communicated and delivered, but the biggest benefit has been knowing I can reach out for help if I need it. A huge thank you to everyone at THTT for being there when we need you.

Very practical and useful group discussions. They send you the resources so you can keep working on yourself in-between sessions and beyond. Recommend if you're ready to take your well being into your own hands.

I was on the waiting list and they couldn't offer me therapy, so they said they would refer me to Mind. Mind never reached out to me. Tower Hamlets then started ghosting me, never responded to any of my messages and now 7 months later, still no therapy in sight. I'm off the waiting list and being ghosted.

I was referred to Talking Therapies during the peak of the Pandemic in 2020. I had a phone appointment as face to face appointments were not available. I received a letter stating that I will be put on the waiting list. However, I am still waiting for an appointment. I was told someone tried to contact me for a face to face appointment but this is untrue. I left voice messages but nobody has got back to me. Nobody seems to answer their phone. I even visited their office yesterday and it was closed. As others have mentioned their admin system is terrible and referral- follow up appointment system is shambles. I sent them an email today and requested an appointment once again. Also requested information for their complaints department.

I was sceptical about talking therapy at first but I found talking about it and receiving an unbiased feedback really helped to channel my thoughts. The material and activities given to me helped me to realise the positives and the progress I was making. Advice on different ways of communicating is equally important in improving my life with a small family and juggling full time work. It helps if you have time for therapy when the time is right.

Kiran was an incredible help to me, helping me to realise the issues and the problems I have suffered with, whilst also providing tools and methods to use in my day to day life. I threw myself into the therapy headfirst and took on board everything that we spoke about. In every session I had a ‘lightbulb moment’, where I would understand something about myself and be able to recognise how to help overcome it. It’s been a life changing 10 weeks and I can’t hold Kiran in any higher regard. He has helped me no end, and I believe that although it hasn’t always been easy, my life has improved ten fold. I look forward to loving my life using these tools that were provided and know that I am still on a journey, but my path seems to be much easier to navigate now. I would like to thank Kiran and talking therapies for all the help I have received so far and I couldn’t recommend CBT more.
