My partner and I were driving up from Manchester and we were pretty tired from our journey. We were welcomed with local fresh coffee, cakes and flowers. Really made us smile. There was milk in the fridge and logs ready for us to use on the fire. We stayed at Gill Cottage and it is quite the little gem 💎. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was everything we could of hoped for and more. The views are breathtaking, the cottage is spotless and very cosy. The hottub is just wonderful in the evening when looking up at the night sky. We wish we could of stayed longer as it is so peaceful. Thankyou for such a wonderful time.

We had such a lovely weekend staying in a spacious luxurious cottage with a hot tub. The cottage was very well equipped with a welcome pack and flowers. Each bedroom was very comfy and decorated lovely with ensuites. We couldn't have asked for anything more. There are lovely walks in the area and the Duke of Cumberland in Castle Carrock is a great country pub. We will definitely return
