The staff at Totterdown are absolutely amazing. When my son started pre school he had never once left my side but he has gone into every session with no problems at all. The environment that they provide for the children is nurturing, supportive, creative and just perfect. I am so relaxed and happy about dropping him off and so is he. He has made some lovely friends and speaks so fondly of every single day he attends. The setting itself is amazing too. Wonderful toys, books and craft set up and a large outdoor area. We get regular emails about term times and events happening with plenty of notice and there is lots of special days that parents can get involved with. I am just so pleased we found somewhere my son is happy and I am content that he is being looked after well.

My daughter attended Totterdown from the age of 2 until we went into Lockdown of March 2020 when she was 4. When she started, she was one of the youngest and would happily play with and learn from the older children. By the time she left, she was one of the eldest and enjoyed 'looking after ' the younger ones. During her time at Totterdown, she developed her independence and learned how to play with other children. She gained confidence whilst given structure which helped her to settle into Reception in September despite the break in attending a setting due to Lockdown. Claire, Shamira and the team provide a stimulating environment with lots of different things going on every week. I would not hesitate to recommend Totterdown to other parents looking for a safe, fun environment for their child(ren) to thrive and grow.

Our son Stanley started last September at 3 years old. Stanley has done nothing but excel. We are ever so proud of not only our son but the never ending support that is shown not only to Stanley but for us aswell. I can speak for all of us as a family when Stanley leaves to start primary school in September that totterdown harpers preschool will forever share a special place in our hearts. Thank you ever so much for all you've done and what you've continue to do. You all work so perfectly together and we hope Stanley continues to "love school" in his new settlememt as much as he loves it with you all!

Our son has been at Totterdown for 18 months and loved it. The staff are really supportive of him and communicate well with us on his development. Great facilities and lots of engaging activities, too. We plan for our daughter to attend from 2 years old as well.

Having a daughter with special needs I was concerned about sending her to preschool. I visited other preschools before Totterdown and I can honestly say Totterdown had a special feel about it. The staff and the environment felt right for me and her. My daughter loves her preschool and gets very excited about attending. The staff are fantastic at there jobs. I would highly recommend Totterdown Preschool.

Best decision I ever made sending my daughter to Totterdown, by far the best preschool in the Ash area. All of the teachers are so lovely and welcoming, they plan great events for the children and parents like Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day etc. They have a lot of resources for the children to use and boost their learning, their outdoor area is great, lots of different things for them to explore and play with, they also have a brand new forest school for 3+ year olds on their grounds. My daughter has come a long way since only being there a year thanks to the teachers, has made some amazing friends and is always so excited to go. Thank you for everything you have done and do for the children 😊

I honestly could not recommend totterdown enough. My son has been there since just after his 2nd birthday and is due to go off to school after summer. The support they have given has been amazing and I am confident he will be school ready due to this. Totterdown made sure my son had a referral for speech and language and while waiting for it started work with him and there really has been a difference. I am sad that he will be leaving but so thankful I stumbled across totterdown via Facebook. This nursery really is one to go and see because I can I really think it is an amazing fit for anyone looking for a preschool termtime setting. Totterdown go above and beyond to do special things like mothers day events, fathers day events and even an easter bonnet parade. Such lovely memories for parents and the children to have.

My daughter has spent almost 2.5 years at Totterdown. While there she has blossomed so much, made so many lovely friends and had an amazing variety of experiences - visitors, trips, special date celebrations and themes. The setting is fantastic, with so much outdoor space which the children have freeflow access to. The addition of Forest School also helps Totterdown stand out. The staff have such obvious love of the children and my daughter talks about them all with obvious fondess.

We’re so grateful for everyone at Totterdown. From the moment we stepped through the doors we knew it was the best place for our son to be. Warm, welcoming staff that you can trust and a great play space, indoor and out. Most importantly, they played a pivotal role in the future of our little boy. The hours spent supporting us acquiring an EHCP and diagnosis for our autistic son is something we’ll always be grateful for and I’d have kept him there forever if I could! If you’re looking for a setting, I couldn’t recommend Totterdown enough. Thank you all!
