    Absolutely brilliant training academy, for beginners and experienced barbers. I came here for an intensive refresher course, having previously completed my own Barber training qualification in 2015. The teachers are excellent; highly skilled, friendly, approachable, and break down learning easily for you with ease and understanding. Students are there at all levels at all stages, and no one is made to feel stupid. There is an underlying respect for everyone, good humour, hard work, and almost a family like atmosphere that makes you feel welcome and fitting in immediately. No need to be concerned either about being a female in a traditionally male dominant sector. No sexist old fashioned attitudes are shown, or allowed here. There is a fantastic laid back, relaxed but hard working atmosphere, and you get plenty of real life hands on experience that would help you prepare for life in a barber shop or as a freelancer in the industry. The only thing I would change is extending my days with the Total Barber Academy as the week flew by and I didn't want to leave! Thank you to everyone at TBA, I highly recommend training with them.

    I have getting haircuts from here from last one year and end results are always satisfying. I tried the Liverpool street once but ended coming here again after week. Yes you should arrive on time and sometimes expect to wait little long for your turn. Max time it took for me once was 1hr and 45mins. I waited for first thirty minutes. Everything is nice here. Lastly students are still learning but sometimes i get haircut of worth 100£. So its a win win

    Best place to learn barbering!! Last year I switched my career and went into barbering, I found total barber and travelled into London 5 days a week for the beginner course NVQ. From the moment I stepped into the building I was greeted by friendly and knowledgable barbers, Shaun, H, George and Josh to name a few were extremely good tutors and very patient with all the students. From day 1 we was learning the basics of long to medium hair and how to section and cut each style then between 3-5 days max you would be put on the shop floor and cutting on real heads. This gave us all real life experience and helped us learn much quicker. We was able to get more confident with clients but also put what we had learnt into practise, we was still watched over by the tutors and they always stepped into help when we needed it, even if you was told something on a regular occasion if you needed help it never too much for the tutors and the patience they had for us was excellent. All really nice lads and cannot thank Total Barber Academy enough for the support and help they gave me through my training, I have the key fundamentals and understanding of barbering that I needed in the beginning of my career. Carol who is the owner who I spoke to before going on the course is also a star and extremely welcoming and helpful. If you are thinking of doing a course then look no further, go to Total Barber Academy and learn from the best!! Can’t speak more highly of these guys, the best people!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Normally go to LSOB in Liverpool Street but fancied a change. Booked for 2pm. On arrival there were 7 waiting and customers already in chairs...The educators looked like they were walking about aimlessly drinking coffee and not much else. At no time was I asked if I had an appointment or apology for making me wait for 45mins with no acknowledgement. I eventually walked out, what a waste of my time. Educators, just a little tip, each client is booked by the hour, nearer the time you need to take charge and finish off the customer haircut to keep up with demand. I know its free but we give our time which is limited. I'm sorry but London School Of Barbering are very organised. Please look at their business model.
