First time hiring from Total Adventure Bike Hire in Windermere - Great price for such a high quality Scott Electric Mountain Bike, there are loads of places hiring bikes around this area but very few that offer such a high spec bike - the bike was fully charged on collection and Gary in the shop was fantastic and very knowledgeable about routes nearby - on entering the shop it is obvious that there is a real passion for cycling, from the range of bikes to the merchandise available - I would highly recommend them to all

Excellent experience with a standard mountain bike, took one of the recommended routes to Wray Castle and Hilltop and enjoyed the beautiful views. Bike, helmet, lock and repair kit all in great condition, and the person in the shop was friendly and knowledgeable.

This is such a great bike shop. Jamie helped me pick out a bike the fit me and he planned a route with me, meticulously going through ever turn, to make sure I had a great trip. He routed me through such beautiful spaces and great gravel roads. You can’t go wrong booking with them! Plus, the bike I had was in tip top shape. I was able to charge up even the steepest of hills. We hired electric bikes and completed the 3rd map in approx 5 hours with a few stops along the way. The store manager was very helpful and had lots of great tips/advice. If we are ever back in the Lakes will be sure to hire from total Adventure again. A great day out!

Rented an electric mountain bike with my sister on Wednesday. Staff were super friendly and helpful. First time using E-bikes, easy to use and incredibly fun to ride, turbo assistance is fantastic for steep climbs. We followed one of the forest/hilltop routes listed on the company website, enjoyed it so much we made a day of it and went round twice. Will definitely be back next time we holiday in the lakes.
