BLOODY FANTASTIC! Evidently the 2 negative reviews are vexed owners of properties on which fault has been found after survey, not clients themselves. Needless to say, the rigour of Tony’s surveys that the 2 reviews suggest are the very reason that we decided to request him perform a Level 3 building survey on our to-be home - so thanks. From start to end, we have not been disappointed. To credit Stanley’s review, from the first telephone call it “just felt right”. Tony spent significant time walking through the details of our property, the process and our concerns (of which there were many as first-time buyers!) before we had even instructed his services. Making suggestions and giving guidance from the outset we felt like we were in very good, competent hands. He highlighted factors to consider that other surveyors I had contacted did not, for example the idiosyncrasies that may come with our property being a 30 year old self-build home or rights of way noted on the title deeds. Tony spent many hours at the property to complete our survey, the results of which were quickly turned around, incredibly thorough and all supported by photographic evidence. He raised valid points for us to bear in mind and also to relay to our solicitors. Tony reviewed the property holistically (the area, recent planning applications etc.) beyond just its structural integrity. Post-survey, he spent further time walking us through the findings that overall have given us confidence in the purchase of our new family home. We would undoubtedly work with Tony again for any future surveying requirements. You really, really do get what you pay for - he is a credit to the industry.

Found Tony via the RICS website. From the very first call, was confident that I would be happy doing business with him. He undertook a Homebuyer survey on a property we were looking to buy - the report was very comprehensive and detailed with plenty of photos. Even though we didn't need a mortgage, we paid the extra to also have a valuation - a good move as it turned out. Tony's research showed that the seller (and/or the estate agent) had overvalued the property - we eventually withdrew from the purchase, rather than overpay. We were thinking of knocking down a couple of internal walls in the property and both before and after the survey Tony was happy to provide advice even though this was not, strictly speaking, part of the survey. An excellent, highly professional service. Highly recommended.
