Every second of my experience, since the very moment I stepped into this lovely ramen bar, was an absolute delight. My boyfriend and I had spent a large chunk of the afternoon roaming around the bustling streets of London so, needless to say, the both of us were rather famished by the time we arrived at Tonkotsu. That being said, we were very pleasantly surprised that our orders arrived at our table within a mere 5 minutes and (I'd say the following is the best part), the food wasn't scalding hot but it was perfectly warm enough so we could start slurping it up immediately. The serving sizes were perfect to fill us up and the flavours and textures of all the components of the dishes were simply amazing. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place – from the lighting, to the decorations, to the seating/tables – was great! So, having said all this, I don't think it would be much of a surprise to anyone if they found me eating here the very next day... and the day after that... AND the day after that :P Leaving Tonkotsu with a stomach full of their hearty ramen is a feeling I will never grow tired of.
