Sadly I was pretty disappointed with the food here. Having been to ramen places in Japan, this chain is quite embarrassing to even suggest it's comparable to the authentic. It's my first time trying Tonkotsu and I can't say I'll be back. I had a free voucher to try a ramen dish and I also ordered pork gyozas. The gyoza's were filled with oil and very little filling. The ramen itself was so bland, I'm not sure if it was the sea salt flavour but it had no taste, it was like drinking warm water. Even though I added extra chilli oil and soy sauce, it still tastes utterly bland. I was really hungry so I ate it all but it was more because I was starving and I don't like to waste food, not because the food was good at all. Even with the free ramen voucher, the meal still cost me just over £9. The only thing I can say positively is that the service was friendly and efficient and the place itself was clean.
