School only praise grade A students but if your child has Special educational needs and an EHC putting into place STEAR CLEAR my child is in year 10 and still having detentions for his behaviour not meeting the schools expectations as he lacks amount of work produced and I'm constantly called because he blows up but he has SEN and they are not being delbt with no have thentbeen for the past 4 years so what else can they expect! If you approach senior members of staff for support they stop listening and put their hard up as soon as anything negative about their school or the way things are done is brought up as in their eyes the school can do no wrong! My child's last school were amazing with him and he really thrived, it's a shame I can't say the same about Tomlinscote. My other child doesn't have sen but WILL NOT be attending. Another thing they bang on about safeguarding children yet my vunrable Sen child had the police looking for him after the school called to say he had left school and no one could find him then hours later it turned out he was in school with a teacher with no idea he had been reported missing. No sorry from the school just abruptly asked we'll WHERE was he yesterday!? I can honestly das I have lost all faith of this school ever changing its ways. If I could give no stars I would!
