Went here because of the reviews but it was a bit of a let down. The food is okay but it is expensive for what it is. You can have more authentic Japanese food in London for cheaper price and with more generous portions. Won't be returning.

Decent food but a bit overpriced for the ambience and service. The tables are very closely placed too so it feels a bit cramped. First restaurant that I've been to that doesn't include VAT in the charges shown on the menu, so be ready for a surprise with extra VAT and 12.5% service charge which drove up the total by over £12.

Was very disappointed today with Miso salmon dish: zero presentation, rice overcooked, sauce like never before, just tried to take off aside the salmon. It used to be my favourite dish other days. Another disappointment-today was stollen my coat which was hanging behind me on the chair outside the restaurant during my dinner time. Several month ago was stollen my friend’s phone from the table inside the Tombo restaurant. Very insecure place….please be aware!!!

Dreadful! I was ordered “Seared Aburi Salmon GF NEW £14.95 Seared salmon sashimi cubes topped with homemade koji aged soy sauce, genmai roasted rice, spring onion, wasabi and sushi ginger”. However, they served me with a bowl of red cabbage.
