Cute and quaint bookshop in a beautiful part of Norwich, however dissatisfied with my visit. Went with a small group of people, and was holding a book from their case I was going to purchase. The shop keep came off very aggressive telling two of us to hold books correctly, after completely ignoring us the entire time. It was very uncomfortable, so we put the books down and left. Would have purchased them, especially having seen rave reviews here, but I suppose she thought we were tourists and didn't know how to handle an older worn book. Very disappointing.

Lovely collection of antiquated (and some modern) books here, me and my friend very much enjoyed browsing in here. The man at the desk I spoke to was lovely and very helpful to the pair of us too, I recommend a visit if you like older books with pretty bindings! The prices are also very reasonable and in some cases cheaper than copies you can find online which is a bonus.

Wonderful gem! How bookshops should be & how they appear in dreams. Called up after I released I really did want the book I resisted on my visit to the shop. Incredibly helpful staff on the phone. Only wished I lived closer.
