Had played for 4ish years prior to starting lessons with Tom and was struggling to figure out how to improve, as well as memorise songs and learn the fretboard. Lessons with Tom have massively exceeded my expectations! I've improved 10x more than I had anticipated and am finding playing much, much more enjoyable. His lessons provide a great way to understand (and also memorise) songs, and he is fantastic at breaking down technical improvements whilst explaining guitar theory. I've been having lessons with Tom since January 2021 via video calls which has worked brilliantly. Tom has improved my guitar playing ability tenfold since starting lessons. I was completely new to guitar and had tried a couple of online tutorials before, but they hadn't really worked. Tom delivers well thought out lessons that aim to give you small improvements each time and he works with you to improve on your technique when you're struggling with certain parts. He manages to fuse theoretical elements with songs that are fun to play so you're learning the fundamentals and staying interested by hearing yourself play actual songs. I would recommend Tom to anyone who is trying to learn or improve on the guitar.
