I am writing this review as a neighbour of a customer that has had work done. The main job of the work looks good but unfortunately the aftercare and damage they have caused to my driveway as the neighbour, has still not been fixed. The drain surrounding still needs completing, and because they did not pack out the edging of their work my brick driveway has come away and now needs levelling as the bricks are loose. Tom Mix have on a number of occasions said they will come and fix and never turn up as they have already got their money. So I thought I would leave a review for all other customers to be aware of as we have now going to have to get this fixed ourself.

The Tom Mix team were great, supplying and levelling 2m^3 of concrete for a shed base. The price was competitive and the concrete was levelled off perfectly, the guys were very professional and polite and cleaned up afterwards. Leon is the son of the owner of this company. He works for this company and trades as this company. When it goes wrong and he messes up a job, or he doesn’t want to go back and rectify issues, he instead says that it was a different company - Tom Mix Concrete Design, which he has apparently sold and has nothing to do with, and yet he still works for Tom Mix Concrete, which he of course would since its his dad’s company, therefore his company. My advice is to stay away from this company as Leon is a rogue builder/trader! You have been warned, he refused to rectify my driveway and patio which have both cracked less than 4yrs on and gave the above excuse and didn’t care that I would take him to court - do yourself a favour and get a company with an insurance backed guarantee like i should have done.
