What a fantastic place to visit, packed full with history and hundreds of fascinating things to enjoy. Lots of information and exhibits on display, mainly from the local Huddersfield area, but also covering further afield too. Spread over two floors with lots to see. Extremely interesting and informative with many exhibits displayed in an easy to follow timeline format. The last time I visited the museum was back in the 70s and some of it still seemed familiar! A wonderful way to spend time and learn lots of things about lots of things connected to Huddersfield, ranging from the Roman settlements, the connections to the industrial revolution, the woollen industry and many, many more. Well worth a visit, would definitely recommend it.
