So we laid 200 meters of turf for a customer, 5 months later we’re taking the grass up because the whole area is covered in leatherjackets, we’ve had green thumb out at 88 pound a time to treat it prior to taking the whole area up, tollehunts terms and conditions states may contain leather jackets due to bans on pesticides, which is fair enough… but I’m massively out of pocket and when I emailed them they didn’t seem to want to help me…the picture is my own back garden which I used the leftovers and off cuts for…. Which also didn’t grow, after further discoveries Ive found mine absolutely covered in leather jackets and it’s spreading to the rest of my garden.. not happy about the whole experience. prior to this we were not aware about the problems with turf because after 30 years experience, not once has this occurred
