We are a Methodist church. What are the service times and what type of service is it?
Our Sunday service starts at 10:30am and typically lasts for around an hour. We have a mix of traditional and contemporary elements in our service, including hymns and modern worship songs, prayers, readings from the Bible, and a sermon. What is the dress code for attending services?
There is no strict dress code at our church. Some people choose to dress up, but many come in casual clothing. We believe that what's important is the attitude of the heart, not the clothes you wear. Are there opportunities for volunteering or getting involved in the church community?
Yes, we have a range of different activities and events throughout the week that people can get involved in. These include Bible studies, prayer groups, music groups, and social events. We also have opportunities to get involved in serving the church and wider community through volunteering. What is the church's stance on social and political issues?
As a church, we believe in following the teachings of Jesus, which include loving our neighbors as ourselves and caring for the vulnerable. While we do not endorse any particular political party or agenda, we do speak out on issues that we believe are important, such as social justice, human rights, and caring for the environment. We encourage our members to engage in respectful dialogue and to work towards building a better world for all people.Reviews

The people here have always been very friendly and welcoming, plus they have events and activities for children, which I love. I'm not particularly religious myself, but that has never changed the way I'm treated or my family's enjoyment of the family events.

I found this lovely community garden in the heart of Beverley. I sat on the bench in a little suntrap of a garden with a beautifully decorated yard and sweet birds singing while shoppers passed by. Go try it out. A little place of peace on a bustling day.
