It was a different set of staff on this visit but the staff were very friendly and even though we had booked and turned up half an hour early due to less traffic we still got showed to a table straight away in our preferred place . It was very busy , lots of customers in due to a 50% off deal but the staff and service was excellent and very well run . The food was lovely but just not quite up to the usual standard hence one star less than usual. I would still recommend toby carvery at ainsworth as the best one I have been to and we have tried several . It has always been excellent value for money but with the 50% off main meals it only cost £13.04 for 2 people. You couldn't make it for that at home ! Parking: Spot on !

What has happened to the best Toby ever!! Called in for dinner with the family,5 adults and 2 children. Food was shockingly bland even the gravy was like thick brown water. Its a shame because this restaurant has some of the best staff in the North West and once had the tastiest food to match..After spending £104 ( £20 VAT) our Toby days are well and truly over...bland food at ridiculous prices will end up with another truly great British classic going bust.
