Great building with amazing and unique duplex’s that really aren’t like anything else in the city. Although severely let down by shocking parking arrangements for would-be purchasers. A word of warning for potential purchasers in phase 1 (although I presume this will be a recurring issue) there is no on site parking available anymore UNLESS you buy a penthouse which are a little underwhelming. The alternative is, for £15,000 (the same price as an on-site parking space when they were available) you have the privilege of a 10 minute walk outside from the plot of land they have bought on the corner of Walter Street and Great Howard Street to your apartment at Tobacco Warehouse. In our case this means we would be spending £450k for an apartment with 2 parking spaces and they’re not even on site which is insane for the money and price of the apartments. I really would be surprised if the higher priced remaining Duplex’s sell with those parking arrangements as that’s the difference between purchasing and walking away for us and likely many others. It feels like whoever made the decision to have an offsite car park for residents has never actually visited the development and it really is shocking that it’s been deemed appropriate to charge the same £15,000 for the spaces!
