    I tried to book using the online system which was showing multiple time slots available but required to be booked 4 hours prior. I tried to call directly with no answer so thought we would go and see how busy it was as there were time slots available. We got there and there was one couple sat in the garden with the rest of tables empty. We were told by the manager that we must book 3 weeks in advance & they were too busy. I tried to explain the system was showing time slots available which may be a glitch & his manner was rather rude saying he will get his computer & show me! I think you need to send your manager on a course for customer service skills and mannerism. Shocking! Will not be returning or recommending.

    I’ve been desperate to come visit this cafe for a while as I love how dog friendly this place is, and the food looks amazing, however, I finally got to go and treat my mum to brunch and unfortunately we were both very disappointed with our food ☹️, so much so, that we didn’t even get half way at through it. We had both ordered smashed avocado on toast, however the avocado was sadly incredibly lumpy, being more cut up chunks of avo rather than smash, on top of that, there was no butter at all on the toast, which I found very odd, as, with just avo on top, it made the meal incredibly dry. The avocado also tasted as though it was drenched in lemon juice and was really bitter and overpowering and toast was cold 😕when you’re paying a fair amount for quite a basic meal, it’s even more disappointing. I did make a point of speaking to the staff to explain my disappointment and stated the food was less than half eaten because of the above, to simply be offered just a drink, no replacement food or money back. So I took it upon myself to write to them on social media only to be be given just a ‘sorry’ no gesture of good will, considering we couldn’t eat the food, and then ignored after my last message stating that. It’s such a shame as I think we just got really unlucky that day and I’d of loved to of gone back for the famous pancakes, however, the customer service is actually even more disappointing and shocking than the experience of the food itself! Never heard of any restaurant not rectifying a bad meal and ignoring customers when they reach out.
