Chuffed to bits with the work Tom and team did; They were outrageously punctual (8am on the dot), clean, tidy and diligent, extra care was taken with the protection of my wooden flooring during the works. I'm super happy with the result; excellently finished, high quality, on time and on budget. Tom & the team were flexible and accommodating with small changes to the project - which is wonderful as these things can be difficult to anticipate. TMC's communication is excellent, keeping in touch via email and then Whatsapp during the job - great chats in the morning before work starts and then a debrief text at the end of the day. I would highly recommend!! Thomas and Chris fitted a new wooden floor across 3 rooms, a corridor and 2 cupboards and did it absolutely seamlessly - very precisely cut around every corner and crevice, and the boards continue across each room. They also cut a hole through a wooden stud partition wall to fit a set of French doors - this included installing an architrave and fitting the track and the doors - over the new floor. The standard of work is excellent. But perhaps more special than that is the excellent communication... I've had several disappointing interactions with other builders in the past. TMC have been very clear and precise since the start: the quote they provided detailed all materials and list of works to be done, the timeline provided was accurate (they even finished one day early!), Thomas sent me daily updates with photos over whatsapp, and the invoice reflected the original quote. They were very clean and organised, and very polite! (With other builders in the past, I would sometimes feel disrespected and patronised, perhaps due to being a young woman. This is a complete non-issue with TMC.) Absolutely gold, I hope to use your services again for future works!
