Really poor service from Wei Ng. Had an issue and firstly he had to be chased to respond to the initial email. Hadn’t even been told he was our building manager. He then tried to get a guarantee in writing that we would pay the call-out charge in case the building front door, which he seemed not to know had been broken into, was not the cause of our flats issue. He was sent photos of the front door handle which clearly had the intercom wire cut. That was over 3 weeks ago and he still hasn’t bothered responding. So Wei is a ‘Block Manager Extroadinaire’, according to the website, who doesn’t bother introducing himself to his clients, has to be chased to respond to emails, tries to pass on costs to a client before even investigating the issue in a block of flats 5 minutes walk from his office, seems to be unaware there was a burglary at one of the properties he ‘manages’ and doesn’t respond to client emails about an urgent issue for over 3 weeks even after it has been sorted. This sort of awful and lazy service is unacceptable particularly when considering the high service charge costs.

The team is absolutely fantastic. They go above and beyond to help you. They organise events in the community, and they're quick to answer any problem, question, or concern. I was a tenant through TLC for 6 years. Lakeshia has always been extremely kind and reliable throughout, and even after my tenancy was over and after leaving the country. She still took the time to help if and when needed. I'm running back to TLC when I get back to London to settle.

Block management service is highly dependent on who your block manager is. The one that manages our block is renowned for her overly aggressive behaviour and very poor service/lack of care, which means that we avoid her at all costs. In fairness, our contact with other staff has been ok, but it doesn’t really make up for the above.

A Nightmare Experience with TLC Estate Agents - Beware! I wish I could give zero stars to TLC Estate Agents for the horrendous experience my girlfriend and I had while renting 35A Ifield Road, SW6 9AX Our ordeal began on August 8th, 2022, when we moved in three days late due to their terrible communication and the incompetence of their agent. Their use of the "Goodlord" system led to delays and misunderstandings regarding our guarantor, who was short by £2,000. The agent failed to inform us that we could resolve the issue by paying an additional £600 to the deposit. Instead, we were forced to stay in an expensive Airbnb for two nights and endure unnecessary stress. Upon moving in, we discovered a broken bed that caused us severe back pain. Although the landlord agreed to reimburse us for a new bed, we had to sleep on the floor for an entire month. The property's insulation was abysmal - we were constantly freezing and had to rely on electric heaters, which drove our utility bills sky-high. Unfortunately, there isn't a picture to show or to demonstrate our cold it was, but just know it was unbearable at times. During our tenancy, we also experienced a broken shower door, a burglary attempt, and a pest intrusion - none of which TLC addressed in a timely manner. The icing on the cake was the fridge skirting melting because the oven was placed right next to it. When it was time to move out in February 2023, getting our deposit back felt like pulling teeth. Lucy Carmichael, the property manager, tried to deduct a ridiculous amount from our deposit for minor issues. After taking the matter to the DPS, they still took over £500 from our £2,500+ deposit. Whenever I tried to call her at the office, she was always 'away' from her desk. Of course she was! I cannot stress enough how appalled we were with the service we received from TLC Estate Agents. In my experience of renting over seven properties, I have never encountered such chaos, unprofessionalism, and outright negligence. Avoid them at all costs!

Avoid avoid avoid. Completely unprofessional. I honestly don't know how they got any good reviews, possibly paying £1 for each review to a company or asking friends to write for them? I believe they should be offered less than 1 * Please look through the reviews below, countless negative reviews confirming exactly what I have written, then magically a long list of positive reviews. fairly suspicious! The tenants/owners in our building have been so frustrated with their services and extortionate charges. If you need to speak to any specific person, their staff seem to permanently be on leave. I waited over 2 weeks to speak to the manager in charge of the property, when she returned I was then informed she no longer manages the building and that I would need to speak to her colleague, who conveniently when I called had a recording saying he was annual leave. I then filed a complaint via email with the manager in charge of complaints and received an automated response that he was on leave. Please avoid this horrible company.
