I had a private zoom lesson with Barbara before getting my pup and subsequently did the 4 weeks pup training. I had been reading a lot about dogs (and had three dogs and a number of other animals growing up), still I got from Barbara more deep insights on dog psychology and super valuable practical tips. Just completed Tip Top's Puppy Foundation classes-- and could not recommend it enough! Barbara is fantastic -- exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate & intuitive about dogs with all their various personalities. While I grew up with working dogs & thought I knew a fair bit on how to raise them, the skills Barbara covered in her classes have been absolutely invaluable. She really takes her time to explain the reasoning behind each exercise & splits her time to ensure everyone in the class is looked after. Brilliant classes & an exceptional instructor -- thank you Barbara!

Barbara and Tip Top Dog School were great for me and my puppy Charlie. The group classes were great for teaching him to pay attention and calm him down (as he’s a very energetic pup!). Barbara was also great at phoning us up every now and then to check in on our progress from home. Would highly recommend!

Barbara has now helped train both of our dogs at Tip Top Dog School and we couldn’t recommend her more. Being sighthounds, we expected our two iggies to be notoriously difficult to train, but Barbara put us at ease and took it in her stride. With hands on help during the training and invaluable homework to continue with at home, there is no one else we would go to for help with training. Thank you!

We recently welcomed a very excitable lab puppy into our lives - who brings lots of joy but also lots of challenge too! Barbara has helped us to tackle some of our puppy's more difficult behaviours - we are loving the puppy foundation course so far because it is a fun, informative and covid secure environment. Aside from this, Barbara is really approachable and always available for a phone call outside of classes - which has really set our mind at ease and helped with our puppy's biting and general naughtiness. Barbara is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and passionate about her four legged friends. My Bassett Hound Hugo absolutely adores her and he has been learning lots in puppy classes. There is nothing that Barbara cannot help you with, like a magician she makes it look easy as she has years of expertise. Barbara shares her knowledge and tips, so that with practice the pup’s behaviour is modified and much progress is made. That said, Barbara encourages us human parents to also recognise that pups have their good and bad days too! So to be kind to ourselves too! Barbara you are amazing!!!! Thank you so much
