Beautiful views of the surroundings off the bridge! Not a great deal left of the castle, The odd wall 🤷🏼♂️Not worth the £20.90p for one adult 😱 Didn’t think i was buying the bridge lol 😂 Got to the top and it chucked it down and no shelter so take a brolly if you think it might rain! Cut the tour and taking in the scenery/views short! £1 a minute it worked out! Best bit was the land rover that you can get back to the top to save yeh lungs for £1.50p and to get out the rain ☔️ 😃👍 If there is a next time ill walk down to the beach and look up for free 😃👍Views still would be great!

Personally as a local and having first been 13 years ago to the castle on my first weekend away with my wife to be, alot has changed. I was delighted to meet Ian at the national heritage trust who explained the differences and made our day with his kindness and insight into the castle and area. Highly recommend it and if you see Ian, say hello, he's a star! Someone knight that man.

Remains of an ancient settlement set in gorgeous scenery. If you've got mobility issues, this might not be for you though.
