Where do I even begin? We visited Stirling on the last day of our Scotland trip and were delighted to stumble upon such a gem.The city is absolutely charming and we wished we could stay there longer. After a few hours of walking around we stumbled upon Tinsel & Tartan and since then I can't get this shop out of my mind. The shop is small but packed with tons of very unique Christmas decoration and when you step into it you feel like you've just entered a whole new world.. it feels like a dream especially for a Christmas freak like me! I bought two ornaments which will forever remind me of one of the best holidays we've ever had! At this point I would say that I would return to Stirling just so that I could visit this store again! Thank you so much xx

A cornucopia of Scottish Christmas-ness! Myself and my Husband visited during a week's stay in the area. Some of our Canadian family had flown in for a post covid get-together, so we wanted some souvenirs they could easily carry home to remind them of the lush time we'd had together. We spent a lovely half hour mooching for mementoes, whilst chatting with the owner, who was lovely and helpful. We came away with several Hamish's and Morag's - IYKYK! - each adorned with a Scottish dialect phrase on the reverse as a reminder of the holiday. We enjoyed a great last night together at Corrieri's Cafe restaurant as a result of the owners recommendation too.

The shop is adorable, as is the friendly lady I spontaneously chatted up with. There are both Christmas decorations that you can also get in Edinburgh, for example (which are cheaper here in comparison), but also a lot that I haven't seen anywhere else. There are also neutral souvenirs, e.g. I bought a wooden puffin magnet. Next time Stirling I will definitely stop by again! (Original) Was eine schöne Überraschung! War grad auf dem Weg vom Schloss zum Bahnhof und bin hier zufällig gelandet. Der Laden ist bezaubernd, genauso wie die freundliche Dame, mit der ich mich spontan verquatscht habe. Es gibt dort sowohl Weihnachtsdeko, die man z.B. auch in Edinburgh bekommt (die hier allerdings im Vergleich günstiger ist), aber auch ganz vieles, was ich sonst nirgendwo gesehen habe. Außerdem gibt es auch neutrale Souvenirs, habe z.B. einen Puffin-Magnet aus Holz gekauft. Beim nächsten Mal Stirling werde ich definitiv wieder vorbeischauen!
