Tim did an excellent job of servicing my 1936 Conn 10M. Looked and sounded amazing after a full strip down service. Reasonable rates as well and quick turnaround.

Absolute nightmare to deal with. I took my Sax to Tim for a full service which cost me £140. I explained I was having issues with my low notes. When I got it back the issues weren’t solved, i ended up taking it back twice more to him… he still couldn’t fix it. I wasn’t going to waste anymore of my time so I took it to Howarth of London and they fortunately fixed the problem. I sent Tim the invoice and asked him to cover the costs which was £18 for my sax to be in fully working order, bearing in mind I had already paid him the initial £140 for a half job. He refused to pay the £18, was incredibly rude and hung up on me. Some customer service!! I would strongly advise using another service, once again Howarth of London were amazing, they provide a professional, competent service and treat their customers with respect.

Didn't repair my Saxophone by the day he said he would (after I told him it was urgent). No call or message letting me know of this. Tried to charge extra on the day I picked up the sax for an issue we already discussed when we talked about the price. A button fell off the pad he was working on, when i tested it, after he gave it back. Although he supposedly tested it already. On the brightside he did fix that button right away. The Sax does work now but in future I'll probably go somewhere more professional.

Tim was very helpful both on the telephone and in person. We needed to get my daughter’s flute fixed in time for her exam, and went all the way to Tim’s workshop which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend his expertise and great customer service. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I brought Tim a very budget saxophone knowing full well that it might be a lost cause but Tim managed to fix up the key work which was immediately noticeable even when just testing it out in the car. I can hear the instrument sealing properly and the motion feels super smooth. Tim serviced beyond what I thought would be possible with this instrument and for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend.
