Mr Crook has a very friendly manner and engaged in open discussions, both before and after the procedure on my finger and what to expect after each phase. I felt that he took extra care to make sure that I understood what was going to be involved... He even drew on a piece of paper what the procedure would entail which really helped me to feel relaxed building up to the operation. I am so pleased with the outcome considering the small tolerances involved when working on such a small joint - Thanks Mr Crook! PS. Mr Crook's secretary, Katie, is a real delight and made it a breeze to get bookings and any other information sorted :-)

I have spent 35 years in health care and understand the impact that a clinician can have on a patients health moving on into the future. I did careful research on whom might be suitable for my rapidly deteriorating numb hand. Tim Crook came top of my list. You need someone who is thorough, caring, skilled, confident but not arrogant and able to understand the needs and weaknesses of the individual patient. Fortunately for me, Mr Crook had all of this in spades. After his surgical care, my hand went from a numb claw to a hand that allows me to function normally without much thought. This was despite the fact that a number of well respected consultants had told me not to expect a particularly good outcome with the nerve compression I had endured over the previous 2 to 3 years. My aftercare was equally impressive, with Mr Crook personally checking on my progress at regular intervals. It is very easy to give this surgeon 5 stars .

Mr. Crook is friendly, calm and professional. He listens well, examines thoroughly and makes joint injections almost pain free (my experience anyway!) I felt that he was very thorough - letting me talk through my problem and then focussing on certain areas in more depth to get a good history before examining to confirm the diagnosis and plan treatment. I would highly recommend Mr. Crook for upper limb ortho problems.
