Been trying to get a call back for the past week for my HRT, it takes a 5 minutes call from the doctor to say alls well continue as normal. Delays in HRT means the return of symptoms that take up to 6-8 weeks to rectify. I keep getting told to ring back at 8:00. I have explained ringing at 08:00 could make the difference between life & death to someone else when all I need is my HRT prescription. But the reply remains the same. Ring back ring back ring back no more appointments full today ring back tomorrow, it’s like playing appointment bingo. This is crazy, I’m a nurse I know only full well what the pressure like on the NHS hence why I don’t want to take an appointment off someone who needs it more that I do. Its about time all GPS joined the land of living & work weekends, put a stop to 1/2 day closing & cater for the ever changing population needs. Ring back when your shift starts at 07;00 & ends 20:00 is difficult when your tending to sick patients. The doctors are good when you get to speak to them however actually achieving that is the most frustrating thing ever, ill isn’t prevention better that a cure.

Shocking how patients are treated at this place, how long before someone dies because of their negligence. Disgrace to the NHS.
