Attended a friend's wedding here. We had a lovely room in one of the outbuildings with a super king comfortable bed. Iron + board, hairdryer, but no magnifying mirror or razor/toothbrush socket, which was a shame as the hotel is used for weddings, I found it difficult to apply my makeup. The wedding catering was extremely good, staff were attentive and everything went smoothly. Everything went off very well. Breakfast was varied and they were able to cater for GF. We had to leave early the next morning, but this was accommodated even though the rest of the wedding guests had a room set up for a buffet. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to walk through the extensive grounds or any of the walks along the nearby river. Perhaps we will get an opportunity to do that another time. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

Came here as my 40th birthday with my family. First impressions of a gorgeous country hotel and it was all peaceful and the weather was amazing to help. We were shown to the restaurant and a beautifully laid out table in the window. The attention to detail from the front of house staff was sensational and the back of house staff absolutely showed their talents with amazing food. With out a doubt the best place to of spent my birthday.
