Supper happy with the way thrifty Portsmouth have been with me, I spoke with a gentleman called Francis and collected my vehicle last week, after the week of driving I realised to didn't like the C3 I had been given the biting point in the clutch was high ect, anyway after a quick phone call with Francis he was happy to swap the vehicle no questions asked so I'm now in a fiesta, an overall pleasure to deal with and I will be using the company again, highly recomend 👍

Tom is a hero - After our vehicle broke down on the A27 Tom met us out of hours and arranged hire car for us which we eventually returned to a different Thrifty depot near home. All handled perfectly and much appreciated.

Dissatisfied. I was told on the phone that they did not have a 5 door as promised but a 3 door mini. No good for grandkids but no choice as it was take it or leave it, he was quite curt and clearly didn't have time for me. The chap that delivered the car was rude. He saw me come out of the house and said nothing, continued with paperwork. When he got out of the car he walked past me offering me a packet containing the key. He only spoke when I asked about a look round. He said they don't do that anymore because of covid, this was while he continued to walk away from me. I was told I would get a full talk about all the car had to offer, I did not. I have not driven a mini before or used keyless starting. Luckily my 10yr old granddaughter has been in one and told me how it works and talked me through getting reverse. Based on this I would not use Thrifty again. I would thank the lady who drove the mini bus to collect the man who delivered. She smiled and said hello.
