I seriously think giving this man one star is far too generous. What a horrible man!!!!! It's a shame for UPS to have this horrible man's shop as their Access Point!!!! Absolutely disgusting attitude, all packages are left out on the shop floor. Anybody could have taken them, he seemed so put out having to get off his backside to do some work!!!! ( as if scanning a parcel is so much work =D ) I wish there were an option of 0 stars. UPS need to seriously remove them from Access Points. AVOID!!!!!

I had to return an Amazon parcel via UPS. Dropped the parcel off this morning at 8am. Received a notification from Amazon a bit later that it had been collected. No issues at all.

Awful rude owners, refused to take ups parcel saying its too late despite being 15 mins early, even by the signs up in store. Lazy, rude and incompetent about the worst you'll find. Go elsewhere

I wish I had read these reviews before making 3 wasted visits to Threadgold News. Never have I experienced such terrible customer service. The man is just a living example of how to kill a business. I went on a Saturday to drop off a parcel, the man at the counter (same person that every other review refers to), said no parcel drop off for UPS on Saturday. I went back on Friday to be told the last drop off is at 11am. This I found unacceptable when the sign on the entrace to the shop clearly says "last drop off at 3.30pm). Before leaving the shop I took at photo at 2.46pm as evidence. I have raised this formal complaint with UPS and sincerely hope they revoke his contract and find a better UPS access point. The man at this shop has no understanding of customer service. If he is the owner (which I doubt) then he is making sure this business never grows. If he is not the owner, then the real owner needs to read these reviews and make a change.

Unbelievably rude. I’ve never had such a drama collecting a parcel. I had to come back to this horrible shop (which smell musty and is covered in dust) 3 times and wasted half an hour of my life. Apparently turning up with the delivery slip, my driving license with the same address and surname as the delivery, wasn’t enough. I returned home and bought in my husbands passport - same name as in on the delivery, but nope, you guessed it, still wasn’t enough to prove the parcel was mine! I returned home a third time, and all these items combined with a letter from the HMRC addressed to my husband with the same address was then acceptable. Ridiculous as the parcels aren’t even kept securely, so anyone could have walked in and taken them. I searched for reviews for this shop as I was so shocked by my experience. I’m pleased to stay I am not surprised there are very similar reviews to mine. I can’t help but feel as though because I was a woman he purposely made it difficult for me. He watched me struggle with the heavy box (while holding enough I.D to get me through passport control at Heathrow) along with my phone, keys and purse. Shocking.

I have never experienced such rudeness when I tried to pickup my parcel. It beggers belief that UPS allow this 3rd rate business to operate on their behalf. I certainly won't be using any parcel company that uses this shop.

Not going to leave a parcel for drop off without any proof I have left the parcel there, he has not even wanted to scan the parcel and seemed very unhelpful and rude. Took my parcel back and send it from a different UPS Acces point with a proof of postage. Would not recommend!
