FAQ
What is the success rate for whale sightings on your tours?
We cannot guarantee a 100% success rate for whale sightings on our tours, as we are dealing with wild animals in their natural habitat. However, we have a high success rate and our experienced guides will do their best to spot as many whales as possible. What safety measures do you have in place to ensure a safe tour?
Safety is our top priority and we have various measures in place to ensure a safe tour. Our boats are well-maintained and equipped with all necessary safety equipment. Our guides are trained in safety procedures and will provide a safety briefing before the tour. We also monitor weather and sea conditions closely and will cancel tours if conditions are deemed unsafe. How experienced are your tour guides in spotting and identifying different whale species?
Our tour guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable in spotting and identifying different whale species. They undergo extensive training and are passionate about marine life and conservation. They will provide informative commentary throughout the tour and answer any questions you may have. What type of boats do you use for your tours and are they equipped with amenities such as restrooms and snacks?
We use modern, high-speed RIBs (rigid inflatable boats) for our tours. These boats are designed for speed and maneuverability, allowing us to get closer to the whales while still keeping a safe distance. Unfortunately, we do not have restrooms on board, but we do provide snacks and drinks for our passengers. What is your cancellation policy in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances?
In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule tours for safety reasons. If this happens, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule for a later date. We recommend checking our website or contacting us directly for the most up-to-date information on tour cancellations and rescheduling.Reviews

Our Sunday morning boat trip (07.05.23) around Ramsey Island has made our week's holiday!!! It was the highlight of the week and we will never forget the experience. Our guide was superb, keeping us continuously informed about the seals, the many varieties of birds, as well as the fascinating geology of Ramsey through the plate building eras. Top marks to Thousand Island Boat trips.
