Bought socks to give as a present. They arrived in a damaged box. I emailed thought sending photos of damaged box. They said I had to return item before they would send new one or refund. I explained friends birthday that week so didn’t have time to do that. They didn’t care. Very inflexible customer service. Can’t give partial refunds, can’t replace damaged goods without receiving original back even though they had detailed photos. I had to give friend their present explaining it wasn’t 2nd hand because of state of box. Would not recommend this company.

I ordered a garment and got sent the wrong size. I sent it back the next day. Three weeks later and four phone calls to the office and I have finally received the item I bought. I sent it back but didn´t get an email saying they´d received the parcel. So I called them, the first person I spoke to said she was processing my order that day. 5 working days later I called to see what was going on as I still hadn´t received a new parcel or even an email to inform me about the process. I phoned the office again and spoke to a woman who said she would try and find my order and phone me back. I waited two hour before I called them back. The woman I spoke to then said she was going to process my order (thought the woman I´d spoken to 5 days earlier had already done that but clearly not) and that I would receive my new item the next day… Next day came and went, I waited two days then gave them a call. The woman I spoke to this time said it had gone out for delivery, I asked if I could have the new tracking number sent to me in an email and she also gave me the number over the phone. I got told Hemmes delivery would email me about the delivery. I heard nothing. But eventually, after nearly 4 weeks since I first placed the order the right item in the right size arrived. There was however an error on the order form stating the whole sale price rather than the price I paid… The item itself is nice, even if the size is a bit big. I will never use this company again. It has been such a headache. You shouldn´t have to wait this long for a mistake done by the company itself in the first place. No apology, no refund or even a discount voucher for future shopping, even though I wouldn´t want to buy anything from Thought Clothing again, the gesture would have been nice.
