It's better if Dr Addlestone can just close down this surgery as what's the point of having a doctors surgery if we are not allowed to have any doctors appointment with the gps people are being told to go to boots.

The service provided in this practice is deplorable. AVOID REGISTERING WITH THEM IF YOU CAN. Firstly, trying to get a call through to book an appointment seems to be one of the most difficult things to do on this planet. I waited until 8:00 am (opening time) to place my call and they already sent through the pre-recorded message saying that they are currently experiencing an increased volume of calls (LIES). Secondly, be warned that whenever you do manage to get a phone consultation booked, the GP will rush you by telling you that you only have 10mins (the ideal time for any consultation is between 15-20min) and you can only present them with one problem at a time. RIDICULOUS. What kind of doctors are they? I have been struggling with my asthma symptoms and stomach issues which require adequate attention. Sadly, the only reason I keep insisting in this awful service is because I cannot afford to go private at the moment.

From receptionists to clinicians everyone is very friendly and professional. I recognise that healthcare providers are under immense pressures dealing with increased demand post-pandemic but the practice staff has been absolutely fantastic in meeting patients needs and managing demand. The online booking system and the ability to see patient facing clinical notes and lab results are extremely useful and a real time saver.

I try call for appointment for my 4 months old son and me from Monday. Everyday nobady answered. It is impossible to make appointment. I'm very disappoint.

They do not answer calls, you can call continuously for over an hour and the phone won't be answered and when they finally book a slot for you all the doctors will say is the you should go home and drink more water without any examination on you. Thanks to prior medical center I got a good treatment.

I cannot compliment and praise this Gp practice enough. I wish I changed my gp’s to Thornton medical practice a long time ago. I have been offered 2 routine appointments for both my children whereas I would be waiting a very long time at my previous practice. I am So so happy with this practice. Every gp I have spoke to in this practice is So person centred, so considerate, the quality of care they deliver is absolutely excellent, their duty of care is solely their patient, I can truly say from my experience they really do meet cqc’s 5 domains of safe, effective, caring, well led and responsive. My toddler was down with a fever and a ear infection, so he had been unsettled most of the night and morning, I called the Gp practice in the morning for an appointment, I was advised the gp will call me back around the afternoon time which was absolutely fine however the gp called me back within 10 minutes as she thought my toddler would be crying in pain n didn’t want him crying until the afternoon. That just shows how person centred, considerate, kind and compassionate the gp’s are at this medical practice. I was shocked at how considerate the staff are at this place. Even having a face to face appointment for my toddler with a gp honestly she was amazing with my toddler. He displays signs of autism and she was so patient with him. I have been calling up a few times to this practice for different things one was regarding letters i have received from the hospital regarding appointments for my toddler which I have misplaced and needed copies off and honestly every time I have spoke with the reception staff they have always spoke to me with respect and dignity n always have shown kindness, they have showed patience and courtesy at all times it’s like a breath of fresh air after the experience I’ve had at my previous gp practice. Honestly 10/10. Will be recommending this practice to all my family n friends. I am so happy and content knowing my children will always receive the best care here the gp’s are absolutely amazing!! They’re approachable, professional and very knowledgeable. Well done to everyone that works at this practice. Despite the immense pressures that the NHS is under at the moment you all are always so friendly and ready to assist with any concerns or worries. Patient care is always ur no 1 priority. Best Gp practice in Leeds for sure! Honestly ur hard work doesn’t go a miss. Nothing seems too much for the staff n gps. I really am so pleased I chose this practice for me and my children.
