I fully understand that this site is owned and run by Oxford Council and not by any bus company, but I would like my comments to be passed on. We used Thornhill last week to take the Oxford Tube coach service to London. I have no complaint with any bus service from Thornhill but the entire site itself is badly thought out and poorly maintained. Drivers using the car park have a ten minute window in which to obtain a ticket and yet there is no signage in the large car park to indicate where the ticket machines are located. The main building with its waiting room and toilets is shabby and run-down. The coffee stall here is its only saving grace The car parking space is very rough, resembling a piece of waste ground or a building site and has obvously had little maintenance work in a long time. On returning from our trip, we realised that we could not find an exit. After driving around for several minutes, we discovered two very small and inadequate signs, one of them overgrown, showing the way out. We noticed that there had been some markings on the tarmac surfaces, but these were worn away and illegible. I understand that Thornhill Park and Ride already has a poor reputation and I cannot see why a city of Oxford's standing cannot provide such a basic service and run it competently.

I can pay for a 30 day ticket on Ringo but the maximum stay is 72 hours. Absolutely useless for someone wanting to go to Heathrow for more than 3 days. Guess i’ll drive to the airport. Good job from Oxfordshire council for providing public transport alternatives.
