Thomson’s fixed my Denon CD player before Christmas , a new Laser was fitted . Went wrong last week and I returned it ! They replaced the faulty laser promptly on the 3 month warranty. Work carried out costing £776.26 - Failed Offered to rectify this by re-routing, cost £399.71 - Not accepted. The engineer on his final visit openly admitted knowing it would fail. Now left with a piece of useless equipment emitting heat, lying on floor behind TV. A disgrace. Be warned!

I needed 2 new TV sets installed so called this local company and although the call out was prompt, the charge was exorbitant plus Vat! The second set was fitted 3 days later with another call out charge and the TV stopped switching on the same evening! So we were advised that the set was probably faulty and should be returned to the store where we bought it . When the next one arrived the next day, they couldn’t set up for another 3 days by which time we did it ourselves with our neighbour! And then we found that in our area most call out technicians charged half of what Thomson charged us!
