I would highly recommend Simon without hesitation, I have found my entire experience to be as smooth as is possible when having a full knee replacement. From the early conversations around my options which were levelled at me in a balanced way, to the reassuring guidance offered prior to surgery, to the motivation given towards recovery post-operation, I have always felt very at ease and in excellent hands. 3 months on, with Simon's attention to detail, high standards and expectations around physio, I have been able to make excellent progress and exceeded the expected movement and flexibility at this point after the procedure. Simon has been a pleasure to communicate with and meet on a regular basis throughout this period. I am extremely grateful for the level of care and expertise I have been given throughout, thank you Simon you are the best!

I met with Mr Thompson in May 2022 and now Feb 2023 I have had 3 successful knee surgeries including ACL reconstruction to my left knee followed by ACL revision surgery (2 stage) to my right knee. 12 weeks post final operation and I am progressing well. Simon really took his time to get to know me and explain all of the options available to me. It was such a relief to finally find him a get a correct diagnosis and exceptional treatment after 8 years of suffering. 6 months later I feel much, much better than before!:). I really like the fact that Simon takes time to train others and share his true expertise and he has a great team around him, Clair was super helpful and responsive at all hours whenever I had a query.

I genuinely cannot think how they could have done more to get me a positive result. Everything was dealt with quickly and the constant communication with Simon’s team was really reassuring. If you are to go into private care with your knee, look no further!

My son suffered a left knee meniscus injury at the end of the 20/21 football season. After seeing several physiotherapists we were referred to SImon for a 2nd opinion. From the first meeting through to re-hab Simon was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely empathetic and very precise in everything he did, from diagnosis through execution to post operation support. Nine months after the injury it was amazing to see my son play a full 90 minutes last week. I couldn't recommend Simon highly enough - thank you Thompson Orthopaedics for getting my sons sporting life back on-track!!!
